Hi, I’m Tonya Noel Stevens—a fourth-generation Rochestarian, mother, organizer, and advocate running for Rochester City Council At-Large. I was born, raised, and educated right here on the West Side, and my roots run deep in this community. From S.W.A.N. to the Uof R, these spaces shaped my view of community and fueled my passion for justice and equity.
I’m running because I believe in a Rochester where everyone has access to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive. My campaign is about radical change—addressing systemic issues at their root and creating a city that works for all of us.
